Simon Tse is excited to be a first-time adjudicator for OMFA for the Beginner and Primary Pop Category! Growing up in the KW region, Simon has been involved in music and singing for over 25 years. His passion for music and education led him to study music at Wilfrid Laurier University as a vocal performance major and continuing onto his Bachelor's and Master's of Education. He is currently a grade 3 teacher with the Waterloo-Region District School Board and has worked with this school board for the past decade. He has also worked with voice students for over 13 years in his studio and has been a vocal director and choreographer for KW Glee since 2016. His love for CCM has taken him to Berklee and Shenandoah University to explore more techniques through lessons and summer programming. He has performed at Opera NUOVA in Edmonton, as well as singing for local musical theatre productions, such as Singer's Theatre, NAJP, Lost & Found Theatre, and KW Glee's Pop Therapy choir.
